You meet the most interesting people that volunteer but you just might find people that you have a closer connection to.. like someone who worked for the same company you did 30 years ago... or someone who lived 3 blocks from you 40 years ago.. or that you and a PGA pro share the same basketball idol from 50 years ago. Volunteering and having these conversations are why I do this. Plus getting to drive awesome cars is not a bad gig either.
It's a small world out there.. get out and enjoy it.
